Frequently Asked Questions

What is a corporate lease?

A corporate lease differs from a standard lease in that the company

is the named lessee, not an individual. The lease includes an

addendum which states that our company occupies your property

and in addition to our website and nurse staffing partners, we may

use various short term rental platforms to obtain tenants. These can

include: Furnished Finders, Citrus, Corporate Housing, AirBnB and

VRBO. Due to the trusted nature and upkeep of our business model

and our units, typically the security deposit is waived or discounted.

What happens if something in the apartment is damaged or broken?

Our company is fully insured and 100% responsible for any damages

that occur during our client’s stay. We also require each client to

have rental insurance. If there are any minor maintenance issues,

Kendra's Travel Spot, will at our own expense, have it

repaired. We have our own team of licensed handymen on call for

emergencies and non-emergency issues. Unless the issues are major

such as hot water heater replacement, roof repair, busted pipes,

black mold infestation, etc., we will cover it.

Why should you partner with us?

Our company is run by a first responder. By partnering with us, you

are allowing the opportunity for us to provide comfortable and

affordable housing to other first responders and business

professionals. With our business model, your property will be cared

for much better than longer term tenants as we provide monthly

cleaning services to our clients. Our services will allow you to relax

and ensure your rent is paid, on time, every month.

How do we vet our clients?

About 30% of our clients are return clients and we have their

information in our database where we can communicate with them

directly when they travel. However, for new clients, we use a

platform called KeyCheck, where we run background checks for all

clients. For our medical professionals, we require proof of contract

so that we can verify that they are in-fact in the medical field and are

in town on assignment. For our business clients, we also request

proof of employment and nature of business before approval.
